This version brings the classic Monopoly gameplay to a new world and features illustrations, characters and themes inspired by the Nintendo video game Animal Crossing New Horizons. In this version of Monopoly, children visit islands, collect resources such as bugs, fish, fossils and fruit, sell the resources to earn Bells, buy decorations and earn Nook Miles for winning. Move around the board with one of the 4 tokens inspired by Animal Crossing New Horizons, in addition to the numbered die, there is also a Nook's Cranny die that determines which type of resource can be sold and after making the first lap around the Monopoly board, players can choose a skill card to use for the rest of the game.
