Aim of the game
After building a Case with the cards, you will have to solve the challenges that will arise.
The challenges consist of identifying on the tables some words with certain characteristics (Letter or ZOOM).
For each challenge there is a card up for grabs: the player who has collected the most cards at the end wins the game.
The winner will then have to identify the culprit from the list of suspects, but the case will only be solved if all players agree on the suspect identified by the winner!
Educational objectives
In this game words are very important, they are the clues to solving the case and players will have the opportunity to practice spelling and lexical skills.
Each table was built by inserting images that lead to numerous words (over 1,200), which contain the main spelling difficulties of the Italian language: digraphs, trigraphs, simple and multiple doublings, homophonous graphemes, but also words with similar sounds and exceptions.
Each one is a piece in the solution of the case, each one is in itself a mini-exercise in rapid naming and spelling-lexical recovery.
